Announcing CoreDX DDS v2.1

CoreDX v2.1 delivers enhanced platform support, content filtering, and greater API coverage.

Twin Oaks Computing is proud to announce the availability of the newest CoreDX DDS release. This release augments the RTPS inter-vendor interoperability protocol with Content Filtering and broad platform support.

Developers can now make use of advanced Content Filtered Topics. By applying an SQL select statement, applications can filter incoming data so that processing resources are not wasted on unwanted data.

CoreDX DDS is the leader in full-featured small-footprint DDS. The advanced Content Filter feature is available in the CoreDX DDS library that is still under 500 KBytes! CoreDX DDS is the perfect way to add publish subscribe data distribution service capabilities to embedded platforms.

With enhanced platform support, CoreDX DDS now supports the Windows XP, Windows Vista, Solaris, Linux, VxWorks, and QNX operating systems. CoreDX DDS is available for X86 (32 bit and 64 bit), SPARC, and ARM processors. Currently, CoreDX DDS supports C and C++ programming languages. Support for Java is expected before the end of 2009.

In addition, the current version (v2.1.6c) includes many bug fixes and minor improvements. For example, better debugging tools, support for logging, static or dynamic discovery, and support for union data types.

If your current middleware solution is letting you down, Upgrade with CoreDX DDS.
