We pride ourselves on our superior customer service, and ask that if you anticipate the need for technical support during this time please schedule an appointment in the next few days. 2015 was a busy year for Twin Oaks Computing! We surpassed 750,000 deployments of CoreDX DDS, introduced a new release of CoreDX DDS, and made several new partnerships. Read below for some 2015 highlights.
Twin Oaks Computing Celebrates 10 Year Anniversary
Twin Oaks Computing, developer of the leading small footprint implementation of the Data Distribution Standard (DDS), CoreDX DDS, is proud to announce the company has reached its 10 year anniversary.
Twin Oaks Computing Announces the Launch of the New DDS Portal
Twin Oaks Computing, along with The Object Management Group® (OMG®) are excited to announce the launch of the new Data Distribution Service™ (DDS™) Portal at http://portals.omg.org/dds
The Portal provides a comprehensive set of information on DDS and the Internet of Things (IoT) data connectivity standard. It is designed to be a resource hub for the DDS community. DDS is a type of Communications Middleware or Inter-Process Communication (IPC) mechanism, whose concept was standardized and is currently managed by the OMG. DDS is a cross-language, cross-operating system, cross-platform middleware (or IPC) solution. It simplifies communications processes among different system types, making distributed development easier, faster, and more reliable.
Embedded Microprocessors & IoT 2015
CoreDX DDS was featured at the Embedded Microprocessors & IoT 2015 conference in Israel earlier this month. This is the major annual conference for embedded systems and microprocessors in Israel.
Embedded systems designers, developers, project managers, and the Academic community, along with vendors in the embedded world got together for this one day event. The distributor of CoreDX DDS in Israel, Techenware, was there as well.
Quote from a Client in a Mission Critical Space Exploration Program:
“CoreDX DDS has been working great and has been enabling our productivity!”
Quote from a Client Conducting University Research:
“CoreDX DDS has a wider language and platform support than other versions I evaluated, which is very welcome, especially for Linux operating systems. A feature I particularly liked was the Android support!”
